Span Works
A technical platform explained through a tangible visual system.

The challenge
A fictional infrastructure company had a capable platform but an abstract explanation of how its services fit together. Buyers needed to understand the relationship between modules before reading specifications.
Our approach
We built a visual language around interlocking components and organised the content from system overview to individual capabilities. Documentation and marketing share names and navigation patterns.
A practical outcome
The delivery combines a modular frontend, a maintainable content model and a clear release workflow. Product teams can add a capability without changing the overall information structure.
A release guide records environment settings, preview checks and rollback responsibilities so the platform can evolve without losing the rationale behind its structure.
Process highlights
- Agree the audience, the problem and the scope before choosing a visual direction.
- Test the structure with complete content and the important interaction states.
- Review the production result at desktop, tablet and phone sizes.
- Deliver an editable system with a documented next step.
